AIA Appoints Laura Harris as Dance Director for the Global Tournament

The Association of International Allstar (AIA) proudly announces the 

appointment of Laura Harris (UK) as Dance Director for the landmark AIA 

Global Tournament, taking place July 2026 in Montreal, Canada. 

With over 20 years of international experience as a performer, coach, 

choreographer, and judge, Harris brings unmatched expertise to the role. She 

has judged and performed at the IASF Dance Worlds, choreographed 

medal-winning routines for Team Australia and Team England, and in 2024 

received the IASF Dedication and Commitment Award. 

Harris will lead the Dance Division, raising competitive standards, fostering 

athlete welfare, and expanding global opportunities.

Laura Harris said: 

“ I am honoured to be appointed as Dance Director for the AIA. With over 25 years of experience as a coach, judge, educator, and leader, I look forward to advancing Allstar Dance and supporting the AIA’s vision. In this role, I aim to expand opportunities worldwide, while advocating for our dancers and celebrating their talents—especially on the AIA Global Tournament stage. My experience and passion will help elevate the AIA and the Global Tournament. Through education, collaboration, and consultation, we will continue building a strong, thriving global All Star dance community.”

“Laura’s appointment marks a milestone for the AIA. Her global experience, 

leadership, and vision will ensure that All Star Dance receives the recognition

prepare for the AIA Global Tournament in Montreal 2026 and the continued 

development of the Association’s purpose.”
